Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all competitions (“Competitions”) operated by Xtra Player, part of the Xtra Media Group ,
across the Xtra DAB Network. By entering any Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility
1.1 Competitions are open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over, unless otherwise stated.
1.2 Employees of Xtra Media Group, their immediate families, and anyone professionally associated with the Competition are not eligible.
1.3 Proof of eligibility must be provided upon request.

2. Entry Requirements
2.1 Entry methods will be specified for each Competition and may include text, online form, phone-in, or social media participation.
2.2 Only entries received before the stated closing date and time will be valid.
2.3 Unless otherwise stated, only one entry per person per Competition is permitted.

3. The Prize
3.1 Details of the prize(s) will be clearly stated in the Competition promotion.
3.2 Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
3.3 We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
3.4 Winners are responsible for any expenses not explicitly stated as part of the prize.

4. Winner Selection and Notification
4.1 Winners will be selected at random or based on skill, depending on the Competition format, and in accordance with any stated judging criteria.
4.2 The winner will be contacted via the method of entry (e.g. phone, email, social media).
4.3 If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.

5. Publicity
5.1 By entering a Competition, you agree that your name, voice, image, and entry may be used in promotional material by Xtra Player and the Xtra Media Group.
5.2 Winners may be required to take part in reasonable publicity as determined by us.

6. Data Protection
6.1 Any personal data provided will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6.2 Information collected will only be used for administering the Competition unless you have opted in for further marketing.

7. Disqualification
7.1 We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant if we believe they have breached these Terms or engaged in fraudulent or dishonest behaviour.
7.2 Misuse of entry mechanisms (e.g. automated entries) will result in disqualification.

8. Liability
8.1 We accept no responsibility for entries not received due to technical issues, network failures, or any other reason outside our control.
8.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in a Competition or acceptance of a prize.

9. Changes and Cancellation
9.1 We reserve the right to amend these Terms or cancel a Competition at any time without notice.
9.2 Any changes will be published on our website or broadcast over the Xtra DAB Network.

10. Governing Law
10.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
10.2 Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
